Lost arts No.1

$26.00

As someone who has grown up in the era of minimalism, has lived in small towns most of their life, and rarely travels, its not often I get to see good looking architecture and ornamental designs on buildings.

Ornamental and decorative buildings have also become a bit of a lost art (especially in the US) mainly due to the cost associated with it. Why make it look nice when you could save money, right? Well, its pretty and fosters an environment that people will care about and be interested in, thats why.

This building is nothing crazy, but its beautiful in its simplicity and was enough to make me pause my walk to appreciate it.

Part of a collection of photos from a trip to New York City in May of 2024.
